Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WhoBe web application, Google Sheets templates, automations, and related services (“Services”) provided by HowBe Technology (“HowBe”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any devices you use to access WhoBe.

2. Authentication

We use Google Sign-In solely to authenticate you. Your email address is retrieved only to complete login and is not stored on HowBe servers.

3. Data Ownership & Storage

  • All contact data and activity data live in the Google Sheet you own; HowBe does not store this data on its servers.
  • You control sharing, deletion, and retention in your own Google Drive. You can delete rows, tabs, or the entire Sheet at any time.
  • Our automations temporarily process your data only to complete actions you initiate within WhoBe.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Services.
  • Do not upload or process data you are not authorized to store in your Google Sheet.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by the WhoBe Privacy Policy. By using WhoBe, you acknowledge that data remains on your device and in your own Google Sheet and is not collected, processed, or shared on HowBe servers.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on Google Workspace and may integrate optional third-party enrichment tools you choose to enable. Your use of those services is subject to their separate terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

HowBe retains all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, documentation, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Services. All rights reserved by HowBe LLC; reproduction or redistribution requires our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HowBe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data stored in your Google Sheet.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HowBe from any claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; uninstalling or disabling WhoBe leaves your Google Sheets data under your control.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
