Tip+ Data Deletion

Tip+ (TipPlus) by HowBe allows you to request the deletion of any or all personal and restaurant data stored within our systems.

How to Request Data Deletion

Email our support team at whobe.customer@gmail.com and include:

  • Your registered email address.
  • The subject line: "Tip+ Request data deletion".
  • Whether you want complete account deletion or partial deletion (e.g., specific shift data, employee records).

What Data Is Deleted

Upon request, we permanently delete:

  • User profile information (email, name, restaurant details).
  • Employee group data and individual employee records.
  • Shift templates, daily instances, and logged tips.
  • Distribution rules, logs, and generated reports.

Data We May Retain

We retain only what is required for legal compliance, tax obligations, fraud prevention, or security purposes. This retained information is minimized and not used for any other purpose.

Timeline

Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receipt. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 days before final removal.
