Tip+ Data Deletion

The Tip+ hospitality platform by HowBe lets you request deletion of your data across any of our products: Tip+: Hotel Tip Collection (iOS), Tip+: Restaurant Tip Manager (iOS), and tipplus.org (web dashboard).

How to Request Data Deletion

Email our support team at whobe.customer@gmail.com and include:

  • Your registered email address.
  • The subject line: "Tip+ Request data deletion".
  • Which product(s) the request applies to: Hotel app, Restaurant app, Web dashboard, or all.
  • Whether you want complete account deletion or partial deletion (e.g., specific shift data, staff records, or a single property).

What Data Is Deleted

Tip+: Restaurant Tip Manager (iOS)

Because Restaurant Tip Manager stores data locally on your device, you can permanently remove all app data by uninstalling the app. If you have contacted us with any information (e.g., support requests), we will delete those records upon request:

  • Any support correspondence tied to your email.

Tip+: Hotel Tip Collection (iOS)

Upon request, we permanently delete:

  • Staff profile information (name, role, property assignment, payout account identifiers).
  • Tip transaction history routed to your account.
  • Any support correspondence tied to your account.

tipplus.org (Web Dashboard)

Upon request, we permanently delete:

  • Owner account information (email, credentials, contact details).
  • Organization and property configuration.
  • Linked staff records and payout history.
  • Distribution rules, logs, and generated reports.

Data We May Retain

We retain only what is required for legal compliance, tax obligations, fraud prevention, or security purposes — for example, transaction records that must be preserved under financial regulations. This retained information is minimized and not used for any other purpose.

Timeline

Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receipt. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 days before final removal.
