- How do guests leave a tip? Guests scan a QR code or tap a link tied to a specific staff member and complete a cashless payment — no app install required.
- Do tips go directly to the staff member? Yes. Hotel tips are collected on behalf of the individual staff member who served the guest.
- What staff roles are supported? Housekeeping, bell staff, valet, concierge, and any other guest-facing role you configure.
Tip+: Restaurant Tip Manager
- How do I set up a new employee group? Add and manage employee groups directly from the 'Settings' tab in the app.
- Can I import historical time-clock data? Yes — upload CSV files exported from standard time-clock software to automatically generate past shift records.
- How does tip distribution work? Configure percentage, fixed-amount, or weighted-split rules once, then run them automatically each shift.
tipplus.org (Web Dashboard)
- How do I access the dashboard? Sign in at tipplus.org with the account tied to your Tip+ apps.
- Can I see both hotel and restaurant data in one place? Yes — the dashboard is designed for multi-property owners running either or both business types.
- What can I export? Payroll-ready reports by property, employee, shift, or role in CSV format.
